OK but also… Steve signing up for an experimental cryogenics program to deal with his health issues. He goes under after the war and finding out Bucky ‘died’. Being thawed in the modern day when most of his health issues can be better managed, some even cured.

Being so shocked and crying his eyes out at finding Bucky back home.
